M. Ahmed Group, a pioneer tea company of Bangladesh, and now one of the largest tea producers in the country, produces over 3 million kg of black tea annually in its eight tea plantations. Ahmed Tea & Lands Company Limited manages a total of eight tea plantations, covering over 9,000 acres of land and producing over 3 million kilograms of black tea annually, which is around 4% of the total tea production of Bangladesh. All our tea gardens have factories equipped with modern tea manufacturing facilities. Our tea gardens are consistently ranked among the best in terms of the auction prices. The average yield per hectare is over 1600 kilograms – one of the highest yields achieved nationally.
  • Phulbari Tea Estates Limited, a sister concern of M. Ahmed Group, owns two estates located in Sreemangal area, the major tea belt of Bangladesh. The names of the properties are Phulbari Tea Estate and Nurjahan Tea Estate. The combined annual output of these two estates is over 1 million kilograms of black tea.
